A levelling system is probably something you'll only ever buy once. That's why on this page you'll find honest, complete answers to the questions we get asked most – about the product, about Camperlift as a company, about installation, and about the warranty. The product
What exactly does the Camperlift Level System do?
The Camperlift Level System makes your camper completely level, fully automatically. You park, press a single button on the wireless remote control, and within minutes your camper is stable and level – no ramps, no lifting, no hassle.
Is my camper suitable?
The system is suitable for campers up to 4,800 kg with a ladder chassis and at least 25 cm of ground clearance. Not sure? Your Camperlift Installation Centre is happy to check suitability in advance, with no obligation.
How much payload capacity does it use?
The complete system weighs approximately 74 kg. On the other hand, you no longer need to carry ramps, supports, or other levelling materials.
Does the system also work on uneven or soft ground?
Yes. The system corrects height differences until the legs are fully extended (52 cm maximum). On soft ground, we recommend placing wide support plates under the legs first.
What happens if the power fails?
The system has an emergency control, so you can also retract the legs manually. You'll never get stuck.
Can the system move with me to my next camper?
Yes. The system can be removed and reinstalled under your next camper by a Camperlift Installation Centre, provided that camper is suitable.
The company Camperlift
Who is Camperlift?
Camperlift is a Dutch brand that develops, manufactures and supplies automatic levelling systems – not an importer, not a reseller, and not an anonymous platform.
Where is the system developed and made?
Development and assembly take place at our own company in Winschoten, using European components.
Why does Camperlift work with independent installation centres?
Because every party should do what they're good at. Camperlift develops and supplies the system; the certified installation centre handles the professional installation.
How does ordering and payment work?
The system costs €3,995 including VAT, installation €500 – €4,495 in total. You pay no deposit: only once the system has been installed, tested and signed off do you pay.
Can I cancel my order?
As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on a distance purchase, unless you give explicit consent in advance for installation within that period.
Can I take a look or ask questions first?
Of course. You're very welcome to visit one of our installation centres to see the system and ask your questions, with no obligation whatsoever.
Installation
Who installs the system?
Installation is carried out by a certified Camperlift Installation Centre, using original parts and approved software.
Where can I get the system installed?
There are Camperlift Installation Centres in Winschoten, Stadskanaal and Braamt (Netherlands), and in Beveren-Waas (Belgium).
What happens on installation day?
Installation takes about four hours. Your camper is installed according to the fixed installation protocol, and the system is thoroughly tested.
What does installation cost?
Installation costs €500 incl. VAT, regardless of which Camperlift Installation Centre you choose.
Does my camper need to be re-inspected after installation?
No. The Camperlift Level System doesn't require a separate inspection (such as a roadworthiness test).
Can I install the system myself?
No, we only supply the system including installation by a certified Camperlift Installation Centre.
Warranty
What warranty do I get?
Camperlift provides a 2-year product warranty against manufacturing, material and construction defects under normal use, calculated from the installation date.
Who provides warranty on what?
Camperlift stands behind the product: the system, its parts and the software. The installation centre stands behind the installation work carried out.
What isn't covered by the product warranty?
Damage from incorrect use, overloading, collision, fire, water or frost, and normal wear of consumable parts aren't covered by the warranty.
What does a warranty repair cost me?
If a defect is covered by the product warranty, Camperlift supplies or repairs the part concerned free of charge.
Is maintenance mandatory for the warranty?
Maintenance isn't mandatory, but we recommend a service every two years at a certified Camperlift Installation Centre.
What if I have a fault while travelling or on holiday?
Thanks to the manual emergency control, you can always retract the legs and simply continue on your way. Then report the fault to Camperlift.
